well written entertaining and informative

I read this book several years ago and was impressed by its readability and how informative it was. The author obviously knew a great deal about the little line and how it was worked and had an affection for it. I can recommend this book as re-reading it will guarantee finding something else out about the area or the characters who made up those who worked or used the railway in its hayday.
