I bought Scooby Doo and Finding Nemo together, because My First LeapPad had been such a success (I bought it last year.) There is no mention on your pages that Scooby Doo and Nemo will not fit My First LeapPad. A huge disappointment for the recipient!

Leap Pad Scooby Doo

My son who has recently turned 6 has owned his Leap Pad Interactive book for shortly over a year. This was the first book I purchased to use with the Leap Pad, and I was not disappointed! My son is normally a reluctant reader, but he couldnt wait to read this one! Sccoby Doo is a firm favourite with most children and this most certainly helps with encouraging reading. The story was just about the right length to hold his interest. He really enjoyed hearing the characters own voices. My only complaint is with regard to the durability of the individual pages, with young children turning the pages, they quickly become damaged and creased. It would be better if they were made of a laminated type paper. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and would rate it as good value for your money.

Excellent for long journeys.

Wow, fantastic. Id not seen a leapad in action before getting my 3 1/2 yr old the "my first leapad" on a recomendation...and its brilliant. The idea is great, it offers great interactivity with stories, sounds and games on each page. The way it works is simple too, the item consists of 4 parts, the pad, a book, a cartridge and a special pen. the book clips onto the pad and is used in conjuction with the cartridge, both can be removed and replaced with other books. The pen is then used to prod words, numbers and pictures which come alive with sound clips...much to the delight of the little ones. The pad cleverly knows which page is being read at the time. 10/10 I highly recomend this for long journeys, our daughter stayed occupied for nearly an hour and a half using her pad.
