The Best Tomb Raider |
This is by far the best Tomb Raider to date. As opposed to some of the other games in the series, this one actually has variety. And the final boss is damned hard! Not only that, but a great reason to add to its longivity, you can actually select to play any level that has been completed beforehand, so you can play again the levels that you particularly liked.Laras house is cool too, She has the awesome "Quad-Bike Racetrack"

Yet another one of the greatest games ever created |
Compared to its predecessors, Tomb Raider III was hard, and very large. While die-hard fans of the series loved the challenge it presented, some newcomers to the phenomenon found it a mite too difficult. With Tomb Raider II having set a precedent, Tomb Raider III: The Adventures of Lara Croftintroduced a collection of new moves. Lara was now able to crawl through low gaps and monkey swing across ceilings that featured requisite hand-holds. Lara also acquired the ability to sprint and, while doing so, dive forward - an essential skill for avoiding many fiendish traps. Additionally, Dual Shock support was implemented for the third in the series, allowing players to look around while running. Marking a departure from the linear format of its predecessors, Tomb Raider allowed players to choose their own route through its middle section. After Laras excursion to India, there was a hoice between a visit to London, the South Pacific and Nevada. Of these, the South Pacific section was by far the most enjoyable, with Lara kayaking through fast currents and past stunning scenery. For the Tomb Raider completist, The Adventures of Lara Croft had a special reward, If players were to collect every secret, they recieved a secret level - All Hallows - by way of reward. Another bonus was a secret race track at Laras house, discovered after exploring her non-too-humble abode. Not as good as its predeccessors but still worthy of a 10/10, Tomb Raider was another classic moment in video-gaming history.

Tomb Raider 3 |
|
This is a very good game. TR3 is huge, with 19 massive levels which you can make your own way through. Many different paths lead through the levels. Diverse gameplay with a very interesting storyline make it great to play. The graphics arent bad at all either. It is also very hard. Being so hard makes it very tedious for people under 13. Also the levels are big..... and empty. Theres a bit too much runnin across huge level, getting a key, running all the way back again. Core should have injected a bit more easier gameplay into but this is still a great game. Buy it.
