First of all- there WILL be first class teams from both Austrailia and England- so dont lie....! This game is set to make cricket lovers world- wide very happy. It will feature 75 stadiums (that is 53 more than cricket 2002). It will be using the "renderware engine" used in rugby 2004- but the graphics will be better or so they (Mr.Wilson of HB Studios). It will have a new confindence metre for batsmen. You will be able to edit players properly this time. There will be many different tournaments- including a world league. They Have taken a lot of time to make the animations run smoothly- and this time yorkers will be much harder to bowl. I gave it 4 instead of 5 as there will be no online play or manual appealing when bowling. But if you like cricket then you will simply have to buy it!

HB studios return with the new improved Cricket 2004 for the PS2. Here is my summary of the game:- GOOD POINTS:- ============= + New Renderware graphics engine (as used in Burnout 2, GTA: Vice City and Pro Evolution Soccer) + More detailed graphics and animation mean more realism. + New motion capture and texture mapping system. + 75 real stadiums from all around the world. + All real international teams and some (not all) domestic teams. + New Flexi Play mode means more interaction with fielding, bowling and batting. + Day/night matches are cool. WEAK POINTS:- ============= - Shame they still could not include all the domestic teams - No online play confirmed yet - AI can be very frustrating, even in easy - Super fielders can annoy OVERALL:- A definate improvement over the original game, but still not the complete article. But a definate must purchase for all cricket fans. Others should rent first.
