Good Starter Book

This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it, but I hesitate to call it complete. I think its better to be viewed as a starter book. It gives you an excellent overview of all the different aspects of training a dog, but it doesnt go into much depth on any one subject. For example he talks about the importance of crate training but doesnt talk about how to deal with separation anxiety. In spite of this, if your looking for dog training book this one is worth buying.

A must for anyone wishing to train their dog!

Another fantastic book by Bruce Fogle. This training manual is written clearly and concisely, with step-by-step, illustrated guides to many different exercises. It deals with the basics such as house training, walking on a lead, sit, down, stay etc and with more complex problems such as food guarding, aggression and chasing animals. A fantastic book and a definate must for anyone who is going to get a dog/puppy, has one already or is just interested in dog training. I couldnt live without it!!
