An excellent look at British military parachuting.

Red On ....go! is a must for anyone interested in British military parachuting. It covers the excellent work done by the RAF in the 50 years since Churchill decreed that Britain should have parachute troops. Although now slightly dated (the use of a tethered balloon as a first jump platform ceased about 3 years ago) this book gives an excellent insight into the training carried out at No1 Parachute Training School. It also covers the RAF Falcons free-fall display team and the RAF Sport Parachute Association. The text is informative without becoming a mass of trivial detail and the photographs are outstanding. Well worth obtaining.
