This game and Metroid Prime are the two best games on any current-gen system. This game shines magic and humour and from the moment you turn it on it will enchant you. Controls are graphics are perfect and fitting and the game is carefull-balanced with a main adventure and sub-tasks. All of this combines, especially with humour, to make The Wind Waker the best 3D Zelda game and the best Zelda game since A Link to the Past. This game vastly improves on the awful N64 game Ocarina of Time. If you dont own this game, get a Cube and get is as quickly as you can. And buy Prime while youre at it.

Even though it is not as good as the Occorina of time it is still miles ahead of all the other console Adventure games. The game has got great graphics, it would have been nice to see a more realistic Zelda though. The game itself is very easy to get into and the gameplay is very adictive. The storyline is a basic Nintendo storyline Links sister gets kidnapped by a giant bird!?, but the storyline does not matter when the game is this good. My Verdict Graphics/ I think the graphics a realy cool but most people would probably disagree with me. 8/10 Gameplay/ The gameplay is very good for newcomers to the series, but for hardcoe fans Nintendo have not changed much since the last Zelda outing. A couple more Wepons would have been nice 9/10 Lifespan/ The game is actualy quite easy and it is not as long a The Ocarina of Time but not many games are. Towards the end of the game it feels rushed out of development and feels boring and dull, but other than that its is quite long. 7/10 All in all if you have a Gamecube this is essential, not as good as Metroid Prime but still worth the money!

So, its here. The long awaited Wind Waker. Years after we all went OTT for OoT, its come. The Legend Of Zelda series has had some of the best gaming moments of all time. I dont think this game really needs a review - everyone knows that this game is going to be classic, and it is. First of all, the most controversial point of the game, the graphics. Beautifully exploited from the GCs power capabilities, they run smoothly across the screen and you runs around saving the world all over again. Definately not a let down and well done Nintendo for trying new things. The gameplay of The Wind Waker is second to none. The only thing that even goes remotely near it, I think, is StarFox Adventures, but lets face it, that is just way off. The idea to have a small wand to control wind and statues and other cool things was just amazing creativity, and shows that Shigeru Miyamoto (spelling?) is not runniong out of good ideas. The sword system and moves are good, nothing new from OoT or Majoras Mask, but if you were a Zelda fan and knew about those, youd undoubtedly have this game already. With GREAT gameplay, graphics, combos, sounds, and the music is fantastic, this is an amazing new adventure from Nintendo, and mustnt be missed out on.
