What a great phone! |
|
This is quite a fab little phone and has more technicalities than you can shake a stick at. when I first got it, it was difficult to manouvre around the menu and keypad. But after a while it got easier and i am now addicted to MMSing. They come in a variety of cool colours- red, silver and blue- but you can change the facia into a range of garish colours. I especially like the polyphonic ringtones- it comes witha bout 20 and the games. One of them is to take a picture using the intergrated camera and the they jiggle it up into squares and you have to put it back again.

MC60 T-Mobile Review |
When I first got the siemens MC60 I was firstly surprised at the size of the phone, since colour phones usually benefit from a large screen and a larger size, the MC60 is oddly small, though the screen is still of good quality it would be nicer if was bigger, and had more colours and pixels. Anyway for the price it is it very good value for all the features it contains. The phone has a great little camera which manages to take good pictures in sufficient light and holds around 20 photo’s depending how much memory is free, also with the phone you can download JAVA games, send MMS and has polyphonic ring tones with tons of other high-end features that make it a really good phone. You can also use a data-cable with it to connect the phone to a PC but not many shops sell this as I yet to find one that does. In summary I would recommend this phone to people on a tight budget but who wants a phone with lots of gadgets which has style too with the cool X design.

A solid , feature-packed, value for money phone! |

Ive been using this phone for the past 24 hours, I bought it to replace my unreliable T68i, and here is my view. Looks wise it looks very nice, the X design for the keys does not compromise usability and the two-tone colouring gives it a sophisticated style. The case has an unappealing plasticky and therefore cheap feel. However it does also feel quite tough, nothing rattles and there are no creaking sounds that are common with most phones! Size wise the phone is very small for a camera phone, probably one of the smallest around. The screen is OK. My T68i has a slightly brighter and larger screen although the T68i is smaller. The camera is OK too, close-up shots have excellent quality but longer-distance ones suffer from lighting problems and look blurry. The sound quality is excellent and as good as on any phone. You can set the ring tones to play very loudly without sacrificing any quality. You can record your own ring-tones & other sounds and guess what? They sound great! The hands free option basically turns it into a speaker phone, so you can sit it down in down car and just talk! The menu system is fast and responsive. The one thing that bothered me was how long you had to wait to load games. It has put me off playing any games on this phone. Having Bluetooth would have completed this phone. That may be important for some, it’s not for me and hey what do you expect for this price anyway? Also it didn’t come with any PC software, but you can download it from the siemens website. I bought this phone because siemens have a reputation for producing solid, reliable, & quality phones. This is no exception. I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of features it has, and I strongly recommend it. It is colour, great looking, has a built it camera, has great sounding polyphonic ring tones, and loads of features. If you can live without the Bluetooth, then at this price point this is the only phone worth consideration.
