Excellent Phone |

The siemens A60 is a great phone. Not only is it practical but it is also a very reasonable price. I will almost definately be purchasing one of these fantastic handsets. Thank You

Good value |
|
The A60 is good value, you get a smart looking, lightweight phone that fits nicely into the biggest of hands. The display is good quality as are the screen savers and the ringtones. The toggle key is great for moving around the screen and the predictive texting makes things much quicker. The only negative is that the letters on the keys can be quite hard to see in certain lights.

An excellent performer at a bargain price. |
The Siemens A60 may not have the latest mobile phone technology such as a built in camera or Bluetooth compatibility, but it has got enough features for it to warrant consideration for purchase. Its colour screen is clear and bright, and its user interface is simple and easy to use, featuring is series of small animated icons. It also has decent quality polyphonic sound output, for both ringtones and text & alarm alerts; and if you don’t like them, new ones can always be downloaded. The A60’s customisation is surprisingly thorough and easy. Your phonebook numbers can be put into one of five groups (Family, Friends, VIP, Others & No Group) to save time and for easier management. Pleasingly, the first four groups can be renamed for more customisation, for example you can group all of your taxi numbers or work colleagues together for easier access. Another nice feature is being able to assign a ‘quick link’ to the left selection button. For example, SMS messaging, calculator, or W.A.P can be assigned and therefore be only one button press away. The backgrounds and animated screensavers are also customisable and can be downloaded using W.A.P. The A60 also supports E.M.S messaging as well as the standard S.M.S., so you can also sent sounds with your text messages. It also features an alarm clock, stopwatch and calculator, plus two games – the enjoyable ‘Stack Attack’ and the sliding puzzle game ‘Magic Picture’. But, sadly it hasn’t got a calendar or scheduler of some kind. The A60 is light and compact, although the plastic casing doesn’t feel particularly robust. Yet, despite it not having Bluetooth, a camera or calendar, at under £50 you could buy much worse than Siemens A60 mobile phone.
