This camera is brilliant! The only thing against it is the standard (supplied) battery life, I get between 30 - 40 minutes maximum. I have just ordered the BP-422 extended battery which should give over 3 hours of use, it may spoil the lines but just take the other one with you and when your not using it swap them over. Picture & Sound quality are both excellent and it does get everyone looking at you! Have not quite figured it all out yet but still early days, the MMC is a nice touch aswell. Nice one Canon!

Astounding

What can I say about this? All I can say is that Canon have outdone themselves this time. The zoom on this is just amazing. The pixels and frame count is ideal for making the perfect home movie. I know because my family and I have this and we enjoy lots of fun using this camcorder. Hats off to you Canon for this amazing piece of work.
