IT WORKS!
Im amazed at the speed in which this diet works. I used it for the weight loss aspect rather than worrying about the toxins and I have felt brilliant on it. Within two weeks I had dropped a dress size. I dont feel tired and ive lots of energy, but more to the point the diet hasnt left me miserable or irritable. The book is easy to follow and the video of the same name is very motivating. My husband was most sceptical when I embarked on this regime but even he is impressed. You do need to be motivated and I planned for the diet by weaning myself off caffine during the two weeks before I started the diet properly, (this limited the headaches). Some ingredients in the recipe section were initially expensive to purchase but they last for ages. I shall have plenty of seeds left when ive finished the 28 days! Some recipes sound a little gruesome but are actually very tasty so well worth trying. I never feel hungry and Im bowled over by the results which are fantastic and Im only on day 14!

Nearly half way, hope this weight gain reverses!
I am now on day 11 of the detox plan - When I started I followed the menu plans but have now decided to use the list of foods that are allowed as this gives me more flexibility during the day. Im still using many of the recipes as they are delicious (although some are really not!). Ive found it very easy to stick to, although I feel like I am putting weight ON! I havent physically weighed myself as this is a big no, but my clothes are feeling tighter not looser. I havent eaten anything thats not allowed, so maybe its the amount of food Im eating thats off? My meals are pretty much whats in the book except for most lunches I have a huge salad (no dressing), and snacks (usually twice a day) are only ever things like small amounts of carrots, celery, seeds, nuts or sultanas... Carol says its not about counting calories and in fact she says its not about losing weight, its the detox bit that were all doing this for - but so far I havent had any of the other benefits either (improvements in skin, sleep, energy levels etc)
BUT its early days, maybe the next 17 will bring all this and more!
p.s. on about day five/six I did comment to my boyfriend that my insides felt great, so thats a good sign. Im going to stick to it and hope for the best!

life after the 28 days??
Only 2 days left!! None of my friends and family thought Id have the willpower to stick to this, but I proved them all wrong. I feel healthier, my skin feels and looks so much better and Ive tons more energy. My clothes now fit better than they did before and Im looking forward to continuing to follow the basics of the plan in my daily diet. I live and work in France and I did find it difficult to find some of the products, mainly through the lack of not being able to find a translation. I adapted some of the menus as I found them a bit bland or dry but they gave a good basis from which to start. I had to return to the UK last week for a company meeting and this meant eating out for 4 days, breakfast and lunch. I couldnt beleive how difficult it was to find a healthy alternative on restaurant menus. Thanks to the tips in the book it did make it a bit easier though. Just one warning though.....watch out for some potentially embarassing side effects. (Im sure you know what I mean and they dont mention it in the book)!! I did warn you!!!!
