Disappointing Read

Having read Ajays intro on how he started in 1995 with little more that £500 & now owns hundreds of properties all over the uk; I settled down to get some top tips and handy hints to follow in his footsteps. Well now Ive read the book, Ive realised I wont be catching up any time soon. If you are looking for some indicators to identify new up and coming areas, look elsewhere. Considering I am a newbie in this, I still felt it was stating the obvious to tell me places like Notting Hill & Maida Vale were really good places to own a house. The areas stated in this book were all already very popular & therefore expensive & therefore out of most peoples league unless you were already on the property ladder, have a rich auntie not long for this world or you happen to know at least 5 of Saturdays winning lottery numbers. The other stuff in the book is pretty much easily found on the web, although it is very handy to have in one place for convenience and comparitive value. Because its a fast moving market , its still best to check out current changes and not take the book at its word. Buy this if you have a spare 80k or so a great mortgage broker and you havent been to London, otherwise your not really losing out.
