Dare to be different! |
|
I found that the Motorola T191 was an excellent bargain in comparison to many other phones that are on the market. It has loads of options and games (such as snake, tetris etc!)and has functions such as calendar and alarm which I have found really useful. I dont have any reason to complain about the ring tones on this phone, for you have a choice of I think 27 to choose from which in my opinion is plenty. I have had the same problem as most of the others who have reviewed this phone as sometimes when my message isnt sent, it deletes it completely so I have to rewrite it again. This is probably its only flaw, for the phone itself is small, stylish and looks much sexier than the common Nokias that seem to be populating the public by storm. I would recommend this phone to anyone out there who "dares to be different."

Mediocre |
|
Ive had this phone for a while and recently started having problems with the battery draining and not recharging. Its a nice-looking phone and I got mine quite cheap but it freezes and the text messaging options arent very good (you cant add words to the dictionary, if a message fails from the "new message" option it deletes the message so you have to write it again, swapping between text and numerals is a pain). However, the games are ok, it has some useful shortcut menus and its nice and small.

Wouldnt recommend it |
As well as the thing about having to delete the original message when you reply to a text, I find (1)the buttons are quite hard to press, (2) I often find that I texts I send fail, and then unless youve saved the text first, you have to retype the whole message. (3) Extra ringtones are hard to find - you dont get the range you do for Nokia phones. (4) The wake-up alarm ring is a bit screechy! But it is small and neat, and it does have Tetris on it - this is why it gets 2 rather than 1 point from me!
