An easy to read little book

This book is written in bite sized chunks. It is full of useful, easy to understand information with lots of good ideas for reducing the cost of buying a property. It is particularly useful for first time buyers or thoses who have little experience of buying a house.

Save hundreds of pennies not buying this book

This is an irritating book. There is one clear message: you NEED to employ an Independent Financial Advisor. The author helpfully lists two... time and time again. One happens to be his brother. For any reader who has read even one mortgage/house buying magazine his golden rules are likely to appear pretty obvious. There is little detail beyond that which you would find in a good magazine. I would recommend the magazine route... at least the information will remain up-to-date.

Save Thousands buying your Home

This is a very good book I found it highly informative and well written. The remortgaging chapter was very good I feel confident that I should be able to save thousands of pounds on the cost of my own mortgage with the advice in this chapter alone. The chapter on buying property at auction was fascinating I never knew you could buy property so cheap.
