I brought this as a space saving alternative to an existing food processor, a result something that is useful and small. I usually make small quantities, enough for 2 people, this big/ little machine is great for chopping small quantities of ingredients. Great for making smoothies, and blending alsorts of liquids.

Just too good!

I used to have my mums old hand blender, a Moulinex that I thought did the job fine. Ive also got a proper food processor too, which has both a jug blender and blitzer bowl. So I felt a bit indulgent buying the Braun multiquick as well. I was persuaded to give it a punt by the idea of being able to crush ice (yay smoothies!), which Im not supposed to do with the the blitzy gadgets Ive already got. Since I got the Braun and tried it out, Ive been utterly converted. Its easy to clean, quick to use, but more than that, it *really* performs! The mini chopper makes really smooth sauces and salsas in seconds. The blender does such an even blend - way better than my old blender which used to leave the odd chunky bit stuck in a corner. The ice crusher just does! The blitzer does a really good job, and you can shove the dirty end straight in a dishwasher, and theres still a whisk and big choppy bowl in the pack. What else can I say? The Moulinex has gone to blitzer heaven and I havent used the food processor blender jug since. Nice one Braun!

an excellent addition to any kitchen

yep, the wall mount thing is pretty useless, but in the long run its how the actual machine works that counts. Its great! Is so much more powerful than my previous blender. recently I used the balloon whisk while making ice-cream. It worked perfectly. The blender itself makes short work of a large stock pot of soup, and you can make wonderful smoothies too. The ice-crusher comes in real handy when making up cocktails... I wouldnt be without it
